Basic Healthcare Worker
Introduces the healthcare delivery system, professional roles, infection control, communication, workplace safety, patient rights, cultural competence, vital signs, body mechanics, emergency response, and basic patient assistance.
Nurse Aide and Orderly, Articulated
Covers hygiene assistance, mobility, transfers, nutrition, feeding, restorative care, vital signs, geriatric care, chronic conditions, therapeutic communication, and supervised clinical experience.
Mental Health Technician
Prepares students for direct-care behavioral health roles through therapeutic communication, behavioral observation, crisis intervention, psychiatric conditions, substance use, developmental disabilities, documentation, group support, and milieu management.

Completion and instructional requirements
Students must meet Nuvelle’s academic, clinical, behavioral, and professional standards to successfully complete the Mental Health Technician Certificate Program.
GPA and Program Completion

Language of Instruction
